Reset Colors.

Clear every graphic override in the active view back to default — one button, no dialogs.

01 · THE PROBLEM

Clearing colour overrides in Revit isn't one button — it's cleaning up two separate places. An override can come from a Filter in the Visibility/Graphics dialog, or from an override applied directly to an element, and clearing one never touches the other.

Overrides live in two different places

Filter colours (the Filters tab in V/G) and per-element overrides (Override Graphics in View) are two independent mechanisms — clearing a view properly means handling both, and skipping either leaves old colour behind.

In the Visibility/Graphics dialog, every filter has to be opened and reset — Cut, Line, Pattern set back to None — one at a time; there's no reset-everything option for the whole view.

Clearing overrides applied to individual elements means Select All or box-selecting the whole view first, then right-click > Reset Overrides — miss an element in the selection and its old colour stays put.

02 · FEATURES

What it does

No add-in on the Autodesk App Store does this on its own. Revit's native path is to reopen Visibility/Graphics Overrides, reset every filter override on the Filters tab, then Select All in the view and Reset Overrides on the elements to catch the rest — three separate steps minimum for one clean sweep. Reset Colors folds all three into a single ribbon click:
