Level Manager.

Manage project levels in one grid: add, edit and delete in bulk, rename to the Vietnamese pattern, spot gaps and duplicates, round-trip through Excel and generate the per-level views.

01 · THE PROBLEM

Editing a project's levels is still a one-at-a-time job: rename through the Properties panel, eyeball the elevation view for gaps or duplicate heights, then create the floor, ceiling and structural plans for each level through the View tab — with no single grid to work in bulk.

40+ cao trình

No grid to edit levels in bulk

A high-rise project can carry dozens of levels, and every add, edit or delete means picking a single level in the Properties panel or elevation view — there's no way to select several at once and rename or shift their elevations in bulk.

Renaming to the Vietnamese pattern is typed by hand, level by level

A naming pattern like 'Tầng 3 (+9.600)' has no native way to generate itself in Revit — every level gets typed by hand, and units or the elevation format easily drift between floors with nobody cross-checking.

3 lần/tầng

Building views per floor means the View tab three times over

A new floor's floor plan, ceiling plan and structural plan each have to be created separately through View > Plan Views — on a 30-storey project that's three view types times thirty levels, nearly a hundred manual steps.

Gaps and duplicate elevations only surface when the structural engineer flags them

Revit gives no warning when two levels share an elevation or the gap between two floors looks wrong — the mismatch only turns up from eyeballing the elevation view, or when the structural calculations come back with the wrong loads.

What it does

Add-ins in this space on the Autodesk App Store stop at renaming: Level Tools (free, capped at Revit 2025) only renames and bulk-creates levels, with no gap or duplicate detection, no Excel round-trip and no per-level view generation. Magic Rename Tool can rename several object types — families, views, sheets — but after its 30-day trial it drops to five items per run. Level Manager combines bulk editing, Vietnamese-pattern renaming, anomaly detection, an Excel round-trip and per-level view generation in one grid:

A

Manage levels

  • Add, edit and delete levels in bulk in one grid
  • Rename to the Vietnamese standard pattern
  • Detect anomalies: gaps, duplicates, empty levels
  • Import and export Excel for offline editing
B

Views per level

  • Create floor, ceiling and structural plans per level
  • Custom view-name prefixes and suffixes
