Color Elements.

Auto Apply pushes overrides the moment Parameter, Scope or Categories change, without pressing Apply; Auto Random re-randomises colours every time the data reloads.

Choose to scan the Entire Model, only the Active View, or only the Current Selection (the selected element count is shown right next to this option).

Tick the Revit categories to scan within the scope chosen above; use the search box above the list to filter quickly when there are many categories.

Apply Selected overrides only the ticked groups; Apply All overrides every listed group; Reset clears all colouring overrides in the view; Refresh Data re-scans the model after it has changed.

All overrides both surface and lines, Surface Only overrides the surface fill only, Lines Only overrides lines only, Cut Patterns overrides only the cut pattern when the element is cut by the view (projection stays unchanged); the Darkness slider controls how dark the line colour is.

Each row is one Category/Family/Type/Parameter-value combination with its element count; click the Surface or Lines swatch to change that group's colour, and the leading checkbox decides whether the group gets applied.

Change colour, select the elements in the model, isolate the elements, edit the group's parameter value directly from the grid, or check/uncheck all categories.

Choose the Fill Pattern used to override the surface, drag Transparency to see through the coloured elements, and pick the Line Pattern applied to overridden edges.

Overrides live on EACH view rather than on the element itself — the title bar always names the view being coloured so you never dump colours onto a deliverable view by mistake.

Left side shows the current Scope/Category count/Element count being scanned; right side reports the most recent Apply result and the active view name.
