Connect sprinklers
- Four Type1–Type4 layouts: rigid branch plus flex drop
- Handles pendent and upright sprinklers
- Batch-connects selected heads to a Pipe
Connect pendent or upright sprinklers to a Pipe with a rigid branch plus flex drop, choosing one of four Type1–Type4 layouts.
Hanging sprinklers on a pipe network is still done one head at a time: pick pendent or upright, draw the rigid branch then the flex drop, and repeat across the floor — layouts drift and heads get missed.
The four rigid-branch plus flex-drop layouts (Type1–Type4) differ in direction and takeoff — drawing each sprinkler by hand lets the layout drift across heads on the same run.
Pendent heads hang below the pipe, upright heads sit above it — same network, opposite drop direction, so the modeler swaps families and elevations one by one.
A fire-protection floor can carry dozens to hundreds of sprinklers; without batch connect, every head is another round of picking pipe, drawing the branch, then the flex.
Flex Sprinkler packs four connection types, pendent versus upright, and batch-connects the selected heads:

Merge collinear beams and slabs into a single element, with un-merge to reverse it.
