Toggle join permission at beam and wall ends in bulk — fixing exactly where Revit's automatic joining distorts the geometry.
Revit auto-joins beam and wall ends to neighboring elements under its own logic, sometimes mitering at the wrong angle or extending past the real intersection point. Turning join off exactly where it goes wrong means clicking each element end individually — there's no way to select them in bulk.
The native Disallow Join command only fires when you click exactly on the beam or wall end you've selected — turning it off for a hundred beam ends on one structural floor means repeating that click one end at a time, with no multi-select mode.
Revit auto-joins beam ends to columns or other beams by default, sometimes mitering at the wrong angle or extending past the real intersection point — structural engineers have to inspect every node to catch the distorted geometry before drawings go out.
Autodesk App Store's Krisp Wall Join Manager toggles join permission in bulk, but only for walls, and it stops at Revit 2022 — it won't even install on a 2024/2025 project, and beam ends still have to be toggled one at a time with the native command.
Because it's done one element end at a time, catching a mistake means hitting Ctrl+Z repeatedly or hunting down which elements were already changed to reverse them — there's no single undo for the whole batch.
