STRUCTURE & SITE

Conduit Connect.

Select whole conduit bundles, click Finish — every pair is trimmed and elbowed, with nested bends and no crossings.

01 · THE PROBLEM

Two conduit bundles meeting at a corner are usually joined by hand, one pair at a time with Trim/Extend to Corner — slow, and easy to pair in the wrong order so the elbows overlap.

1 cặp/lần

Trim/Extend to Corner joins one pair at a time

A 6–10 conduit bundle means repeating the two-pick command that many times, and it errors out when the pair is not perfectly aligned.

0

Nothing keeps the pairing order inside a bundle

Pair an inner conduit with an outer one and the elbows cross each other — only spotted in 3D or a clash run, then torn out and redone.

2+ lớp

Stacked bundles get connected across elevations

A two-tier conduit bundle overlaps in plan, so an upper conduit is easily joined to a lower one.

02 · FEATURES

What it does

Conduit Connect has no main window: select conduits, click Finish, check the preview and apply — the whole batch undoes with one Ctrl+Z:

A

Crossing-free pairing

  • Splits the selection into 2 bundles by direction and into layers by elevation
  • Tries forward and reverse pairing in each layer and keeps the one with zero crossings — nested elbows like hand modelling
  • Bundles with different counts: connects the common part, reports the extras
B

Connect and control

  • Trims/extends to the corner, then places the elbow from the conduit type's bend family
  • Aligned facing bundles connect straight; offset elevations get a riser or slope
  • Vertical + off-axis horizontal conduits: the horizontal is shifted onto the vertical axis and elbowed; far-end fittings are rebuilt, and if they cannot follow the move nothing is changed
  • Green-line preview right in the view — orbit and zoom freely, then Finish applies; no popup after a clean run, failed conduits are left selected
  • Shift+click opens settings for elevation tolerance, angle tolerance, horizontal auto-shift and preview
